Learn at Lunch - 3/13/24, Noon - 1:00 PM

Join the New York Planning Federation for another "Learn at Lunch" webinar! Urban forestry is all about trees where people work, live, and play. Trees are not just to admire, they are also life-giving infrastructure, and like any infrastructure, they offer the most benefits when cared for regularly. In this presentation, you will be provided an overview of the urban and community forestry program in New York State: What it is, the partners, and the programs offered by New York State. The training will focus on urban forestry grants and funding for trees along with technical support for municipal officials and planners working to ensure trees are part of their overall community planning and strategy.

Presenter:
Christina McLaughlin, Urban and Community Forestry Partnership Coordinator
NYS Department of Environmental Conservation

To register for the Learn at Lunch program, please email your name, email address, and municipality/company to nypf@nypf.org by 4:00 pm on Monday, March 11. Attendance at this session will qualify you for one training hour.
